One of Dad's favourite sayings is - "If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it!".
That's pretty much true at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, which features all big names that leave some of the more common folk seeking knock offs. This place was relatively new when I last visited around 10 years ago and it was a welcome respite to wander around off the Strip and outside of the Casino Floor. Since then, other shopping areas have been built (for example City Center) and many of the Hotels (e.g., Bellagio) now directly compete. The result for me is another overwhelming experience and the acute desire to go somewhere else for respite.
It's still fun and very possible to wander around for hours without spending a lot of money. There are also some "reasonable" food choices, air conditioning on a hot day, and of course lots of dazzling urbanites. As long as I realize that I'm in an Amusement Park, I'm good to go.
