The Bar/Restaurant used to have a great Happy Hour. I was going there 2-3 times a month for the last 3 months. But all that is gone. A new chef has raised the all the prices to a ridiculous level. For "Happy Hour" they have a price of $18.00 for a Shrimp cocktail? $9.00 Dollars for a very small bowl of Brussel Sprouts? They are certainly not the same delicious menu item that the previous chef produced. (They were crispy and in a large serving bowl for $6.00 and a great deal). Now they are flabby and cold when served. This new chef with his lackluster food and double the prices at Happy Hour will lose many, many customers. They also stopped the live music on Wednesdays which was a big draw for locals and the people who drove up from Scottsdale. The servers and bussers change quite frequently and the one we had for our group of about 15, was disgruntled and put out that she was serving us. She was really unprofessionally crabby. She complained out loud to our group that our bills were too hard for her to do. Most of us just had drinks, because the HH food menu was not appealing. She would take one or two orders and leave and not come back for 15 minutes or more then take the next order. She would bring back a solo glass of wine and ask desperately "Who ordered this?" She should have asked for help if she needed it. They need to have a restaurant manager control the room. The staff disappears and some are so new and have a panic look in their eyes because they haven't been trained. They are so slow to get to one end of the room to the other. Never make your paying guests feel that we are asking too much of you to order a drink and have you bring it. You are a "server" and if you have no guests, you have no job. Some of us left early and went to another restaurant/bar so we could have a better time. Someone should be paying attention to this bar's atmosphere, before it becomes another dead hotel bar.
