  • I had so much fun here!! I'm always kind of divided on how I feel about animals in captivity, but I really wanted to see some sharks, let's be honest. The tanks were nice and clean, if maybe a bit small (I'm not a marine creatures expert, I don't know). It's a little expensive so doesn't feel like something I can do all the time, just as a treat. $30 if you buy timed tickets online. I thought that aiming for a weekday around 1 would mean it wasn't crowded and I was WRONG. The place was an absolute zoo, packed full of children. If I go again I will definitely go at night, bc I just kept thinking how relaxing the place would be if I wasn't tripping over some errant child or trying to tune out screaming and crying the whole time (and also how much less embarrassed I'd feel to crawl through that kid's tube in the shark tank). I was surprised how interactive I got to be. They have a little touch tank w horseshoe crabs and sharks to pet which was so cool, and a tank full of shrimp who clean your hands (wish I could do that every day) next to a ray bay where you can also touch those! That was cool-felt a bit bad for the crabs and sharks who don't have an option to swim away, but this clearly didn't stop me from yelling, "I'M GONNA PET A SHARK." The employees were really nice too-one of them told a kid to move aside so I could have a turn, which surprised and impressed me. The Dangerous Reef (I think it's called) is so cool, with a ton of sharks, the highlight for me (just in case you hadn't noticed I mentioned sharks 50 times in this review already). The movator is a really cool touch and also a good opportunity to film all the buddies swimming around. The jellyfish area is so beautiful. I wish it had been less busy so I could spend more time enjoying them and less time peering around all the ppl who had to get a selfie in front of the tanks, but it was still great. All in all, would go again, but not during kid hours.
