  • I came here with my friend for the first time. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and the service was great. We ordered two appetizers, Bernie's Mac and cheese and chicken gizzard. Bernie's Mac and cheese was very good. You can taste the bread crumbs and tomatoes that were mixed in it and it had the right amount of cheese! The only thing I didn't like about it were the lemon zest that was in it. Chicken gizzards were lightly battered and deep fried and it kind of tasted like popcorn chicken. For our entrees, we ordered the lamb burger and meatloaf. The meatloaf was simply amazing! It was very juicy, tender and it perfectly tasted well with the mash potato served on the plate. I wasn't a big fan of the lamb burger because the meat was dry and also the sauce that you dip your fries into had an unusual taste to it. It wasn't ketchup, but was some sweet red sauce that left a nasty after taste. Desserts: We also ordered the coconut lemon dessert. I forgot what it was called but it sure was amazing!! The tapioca coconut pudding with small pieces of mangos in it was phenomenal!!
