  • I've visited this restaurant several times over the past 10 years or so and wanted to introduce it to my fiancee. Pros: I  can say with confidence that the quality and variety has remained very consistent over the years since my first visit. There are so many items from which to choose that just about anyone should be pleased with the selection. This is a Japanese restaurant, so the focus is on sushi and sashimi. However, they regularly have several other raw and cooked seafood items, a few items from the grill, interesting salads, soups, etc. The variety and quality of the desserts is above par compared to other sushi restaurants or Asian buffets we've tried. Most of all, this is a very good deal for a Las Vegas buffet. The best evidence for this is the line that begins to form outside the restaurant at least 20 minutes before they open for dinner, even on weeknights. They've raised there price for dinner only a couple of dollars over the past 10 years. With drinks, tax, and tip our tab came to about $35 per person. Cons: Arriving at the restaurant even just 30 minutes after opening can result in a rather long wait for a table because the demand for the dinner buffet well exceeds their capacity to seat people. The quality of the nigiri, maki, and sashimi is definitely good but not outstanding. No real surprise, though, as this is, after all, sushi for the masses. They used to have raw oysters on the line, which was one of the principal reasons why I became a fan of this restaurant. However, they have now been replaced with fried oysters, which were still a treat. Photo Design: by Billie Z.
