| - I recently moved to Tempe from Los Gatos, CA. I hired an AZ moving company, but they left so much behind, I had to rent a 16' truck to move the rest of our belongings (these movers will not get a nice review from me)!
I started unloading everything into a storage unit, but I was by myself and it was HOT! The truck was due back at 11am, and it was already 1pm. I realized there was no way I could do it by myself.
I asked Siri for help and Dakota Movers was one of the closest options. I called, but got their voicemail. I called a couple of other companies, but they wanted to charge WAY more than I was willing to pay. All I needed was one or two people to help push stuff down the truck's ramp and into the storage unit. Within a few minutes, I got a call back from Noah from Dakota Movers. I explained the situation and he told me he could meet me within 45 minutes. When he arrived (in less than 45 mins), he immediately began unloading and worked non-stop until everything was off the truck and stacked nicely in the unit. Noah was pleasant, respectful and VERY hardworking!
The real clincher came when I asked him how much I owed. His rate was about 60% of what I expected to pay - and WAY less than the $330 minimum one of the other companies wanted. I paid Noah the full amount of what I was planning to pay and will say with all honesty that it was worth EVERY penny!
When I am finally able to move into my permanent home, this is the company I will use. I am confident that it will warrant another positive review!
