Sardine has a very pleasant atmosphere - the lighting and decor are perfect. It was not too noisy and not to quiet - perfect ambiance. The menu was also very good - a nice selection of traditional and more adventurous options. I had the split roasted half chicken, and it was well-seasoned but slightly dry and over-done. The server was very nice, but also extremely slow. We waited nearly twenty minutes after our plates were clear before seeing her again. Reading other reviews, it seems that service can be very good - so perhaps it just wasn't our night. There were six people on my check, and a 20% gratuity was pre-applied.
