The location and atmosphere of the salon is good. The woman who cut my hair was friendly and pleasant as well. She kept telling me how beautiful my long hair was. I went in for a very layered cut which I told her. After she added some layers to my hair and began to finish up, I felt like it wasn't quite as layered as I had imagined. I asked if she could go a little more dramatic. She cut a little bit more but said it wouldn't look good if she went too short with the layers. I had got my hair cut a year earlier in a salon in Mexico (for a lot cheaper of course) and that was the haircut I was trying to recreate, which involved more noticable layers. After I left the salon, I felt unsatisfied. No one even noticed I had cut my hair and I had to pay a lot of money for something that was almost nothing. I felt like she was too afraid to go more extreme and was being cautious to avoid making a mistake. I won't be going here again... if I am going to pay a lot of money for a hair cut, I want one in which people will notice that I've actually cut my hair.
