  • I'm writing this because I have a legitimate concern for my safety, the safety of my animals, and the safety of my neighbors. I'm having an electrical problem in my apartment, that was reported in a timely manner. Maintenance came in and replaced the plugs and sort of put them back into the walls. My GFI is blinking and needs to be replaced. I have no functioning plugs in my kitchen (seven) and because of this none of my kitchen appliances work. Maintenance left a note stating they were unable to locate the issue and would need to return. I have asked property management for an update and not received a reply. My primary concern is that due to not being able to locate and correct the electrical issue, there is a potential for an electrical fire due to the electrical current not being regulated/grounded. There is no communication when serious issues like this arise, or when the apartments have flooded in the past, or similar events as well. We've had an amazing maintenance man quit because he wasn't given the ability to hire the appropriate experts to make repairs. Plumbing repairs take weeks to be fixed, electrical problems are days before anybody is seen for the repairs. Appearances lead tenants to believe the management company does not take any of us seriously when we voice our concerns to them with regards to legitimate repair needs, maintenance, or concerns. So let me add to this about how place is ran: So here it is 11:11 am on a Sunday. The sign says laundry room opens at 10am. Well the office guy, bless his heart, doesn't have a key that works on this door. He called maintenance (mind you he lives on property) at 10am then at 1030 and came out again to try to unlock it. I'm so happy this is my last weekend here. I couldn't do my laundry yesterday because there is a woman that is running her laundry business out of here and had them clogged up all day and night. It took me going in to the office three times to see what the issue is. The pools aren't even unlocked yet either. This is piss poor management at its best. Why can't we be issued keys to the laundry room so we can access it 24 hours a day instead of having to wait for someone else to unlock it. Especially with the amount of money we pay to live here. Like I said I am so happy this is my last weekend/week here. It's nothing bad about the office guy or the manager. It's about the sheer laziness of how they are told to run this place.
