  • Rooms are basic, but ours was clean and had a tiny balcony so we could wave to people down at the pool. The room has no frig, but it does have a Keurig and k-cups and bath products from Bath and Body Works. The hotel side was pretty quiet, considering it is inexpensive and Vegas, I was expecting a lot of loudness in the halls and other rooms, but it wasn't at all. I was actually able to sleep for the three hours I pried myself away from the dice and bright lights. The maids were really sweet. They always smiled and said hello. I wish I had gotten the lady's name who cleaned our room, but she was extremely helpful and friendly. Having a friendly cleaning staff is a good indicator to me that something is being done right at this business. The pool area is nice. I love the flamingo wall. Now to the really fun part - the casino. The Hooters Casino boasts some of the cheapest tables in Vegas. They have one $1 Blackjack table that is constantly full. The table area isn't very big, but the dealers are friendly. Some are Hooters girls in tank-tops and booty shorts, and some are dudes in button down shirts. Everyone who was working at the craps table was fantastic. We had some newbies in our group and they explained things, sometimes twice, and offered suggestions on bets and throwing the dice. Believe me when I say someone in our group really needed help with throwing the dice. They cracked jokes with us and generally made the entire game more entertaining. They were aces. I would stay here again if I need a cheap Vegas room (and who doesn't), and I would also return here to gamble.
