  • I have been to various spas around the valley and this is by far the best! I had looked into HE Spa prior to this visit and was always hesitant due to the price range since it appeared a little higher in price in comparison to their competitors. Groupon had an amazing deal for a 90 minute Custom Coconut Oil massage, so needless to say, I went for it. Setting up the appointment was quote easy. I was able to call in on Tuesday and get an appointment for Thursday after work. Nula (sorry if the name is spelled incorrectly) was the assistant manager who had helped me book my appointment and actually checked me in/out at my appointment. She provided additional information and options for me. Upon arrival, Nula showed me around the spa- which is small but very cute and tranquil. I was provided my own private locker area as well as a very thick, warm robe and pair of sandals. Everything was left in the locker and I was taken to the relaxation area. Here, I filled out my paperwork and was offered complimentary teas, fruits and misc snacks. My therapist, Jara, retrieved me from the relaxation area and was taken to my private room. Here, she explained the process of the Lomi Lomi massage (Nui was the other option which is your average, Swedish style massage). The Lomi Lomi massage was incredible! It was similar to a deep tissue massage- she used her forearm a lot. I also received a scalp massage and a foot scrub treatment during my 90 minutes. I would highly recommend this style of massage, especially if you're comfortable being nude (you pretty much just wear a wash cloth over your intimate areas). After the massage, I was able to shower in one of their exotic showers-one of the best showers, if not the best, I have ever had! hahaha Checkout was easy as well. Nula was amazing and went over their monthly membership options. I can honestly say that I have never even considered a monthly membership to a spa- I usually don't even take the time to hear the sales pitch. I will most definitely be returning here and bringing/referring my friends/family.
