My friend met the gay boyfriend and I at the Venetian for a drink. We wandered into La Scena which looked promising because they had a live band.
The band was a cover band that did mostly old tunes but the female singer tended to sing more current stuff like Fergie and Lady Gaga.
I liked their cocktail list which included a drink called Apples & Pears for $14 which I didn't mind paying since it featured fresh pressed apple juice and was tasty.
However, service is a tad slow. And because there's no cover, a lot of people were in here watching the band. A lone woman in a t-shirt, sports shorts and sneakers was incredibly lonely and tried to get us to sit with her. We refused and then later she tried to move our drinks to our table. The server was incredibly patient with her but we didn't see the result of the offer for "coffee" or "cranberry juice" with the vodka the disheveled woman ordered since we snuck out quickly.
