  • Horrible service!! I've been here twice now and seems to be just how it is. This weekend I was entertaining out of town guests and thought I'd give Pomelo another try and made a reservation for us to sit on the patio. When we arrived we were seated in the back of the inside, despite there being open tables on the patio. I spoke up, but was told that they couldn't accommodate us because the employee who took my reservation neglected to write down my one simple request. The waitress promised to "make it up to us" but never did. Simple good service or an app on the house would have done the trick. Instead, she brought our drinks (mostly non alcoholic) after our food arrived, and our food came our at all different times. Also our drinks were not refilled one time. Overall I was embarrassed we brought our guests here to the "nice patio with amazing Phoenix weather." The food was just so so and overpriced in my opinion. There are so many great spots in central Phoenix that you can skip this place- or if you're really curious about the quaint outdoor space, just get a $6 coffee from Lucis and call it a day.
