I went into this store on my only day off of the week with the intention of spending a good amount of money. I waited over 45 minutes for someone to be available to apply a screen protector to my new phone. I was willing to pay the $7.99 fee until I had been there so long without any help. Employees only seemed to want to come up and ask me if I needed anything while I was sitting, waiting for their ONE mobile associate to be available. None were to be seen when I was actually shopping around, looking for the other products I needed...when I actually had questions that needed answered. They wasted a great selling opportunity.
When someone finally directed me to Geek Squad, I asked for a manager to discuss the fee I would have to pay for this "service" as it'd been nearly an hour. She did not once apologize for my wait and merely told me if I didn't want to pay the $7.99 I could just buy the screen protector and put it on at home. Not one ounce of understanding.
I've been a retail manager for three years and I know good and bad service when I see it. While I understand being short staffed, there was no excuse for her attitude. By far the worst retail experience I've ever had.
