  • One of the best, if not the best, steakhouse I have been to. We went here a couple of weeks ago while in town. I was skeptical as I have been to a few Wolf Gang Puck restaurants in the past with mixed results, but Cut is a grand slam. The restaurant isn't very big, I would highly recommend a reservation, which they make easy to do via Open Table. The service from the very beginning was fantastic. All the servers were very attentive and Mark, our main waiter was excellent, I would highly recommend being seated in Mark's section. His recommendations were spot on, he was attentive but not over bearing, and very friendly. The seafood Louie appetizer and the tuna tartar were excellent with great flavor. They serve a variety of bread, all of which were clearly freshly made and they were delicious. Now the most important part, the steak. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and we all agreed were the best we have had. They serve a selection of mustards and sea salt to compliment the steaks. I would have to say that the American Wagyu Beef was worth the extra money, melt in your mouth tender and incredible flavor. Not wanting to forget the dessert we had to try the Banana Cream Pie. This dessert is life changing. Just the right size, balanced flavor and we all cleaned our plates despite being stuffed from dinner. In the end this place is really expensive, but you get what you pay for and it's definitely on the list of places to return to.
