  • I'm sure you've heard if Initium, the hair salon. Ever wonder why? One guy: Menfield. He has now left Initium and started Monsoon, taking almost every client he had with him. And for a good reason, he knows what he is doing. I'm writing this because although I haven't been to him myself, my boyfriend and my sister have - the latter which only went there at our recommendation. Both have left feeling good about their hair AND about life (because they know it looks fabulous). I've seen his work and I know where I'm going once I come home to the GTA. Trust me, go to Menfield. He may be busy and sometimes he'll work on multiple people at once but he won't make you feel neglected. He works hard and is a pretty cool guy all around. They're chill at this salon and will accommodate with no fuss if you need to reschedule. It might be difficult to find: second floor of Pacific Mall, walk in the direction of the Bubble Tease. I'm glad Menfield opened his own place, it always feels good to support an entrepreneur with talent and skill.
