We walked up to find the place rather busy with people waiting outside. But we were seated within 10 minutes. To start, we had the deviled eggs. They were fantastic: crisp coating topped with sriracha, chives, and lardons. A unique take on a simple dish.
The iceberg salad was good. It was a decent portion with ample bleu cheese dressing. (I hate when places skimp on the best part.) The truffled egg sandwich was okay for me. I guess I had a different idea of what it would be. It turned out to be more an omelet on baguette.
The service was good even being as busy as they were. Not to sound like a granny who forgot her Metamucil, but the only thing that really bothered me was how loud it was. You really have to speak up to have a conversation.
