Original review:
I scheduled an appointment for routine maintenance from 11-2. The tech didn't show. I called at 2:15 to find out what happened and was told he'd be at my house in 30 mins. 30 mins later I called Customer Service back since he still wasn't there and was told (again) he'd be there in 30 mins. I asked them to call if he wasn't going to be able to make it in that time; they said OK they would.
30 mins. later, no call and no tech. I called back and was told the Customer Service dept. closed at 3 (it was now 3:30). They didn't tell me that when I asked for a call-back. That's when the tech called me - to tell me he'd be around in 20 minutes or so. That would put him almost exactly at 2 hours late. No apology or explanation given: he just expected I'd be ready to wait longer. I told him he was supposed to be at my house between 11 and 2 and that I didn't want his service any longer. He seemed surprised and disgruntled but again didn't apologize or try to smooth things over.
Worst business experience all year. Do not waste your time with this company. Find someone who has decent reviews who will actually send a tech to your house on time.

I just noticed that Chas Roberts posted a form letter response to my negative review. In it they claim that "we put our customers first" to make themselves look cool but.... look at the date. It took them over a YEAR to post that.
I stand by the review I wrote. This company is a pure "stay away from". They did the original install on our AC unit and we've had nothing but trouble with it. Another company walked us through the way it was installed and even I, a layperson, could see how badly put-together it was. If I'd seen that before I would have skipped calling Chas Roberts for a repair. I would have known they were incompetent.
Just look at all of the other negative reviews here. Businesses can't pay Yelp to fluff their reviews. Believe what you read from customers and find another company to go with.
