  • I had often heard of the rail path in conversation with others, but it was only after a couple of years of living in the area did I venture out to find it. Now it's a regular weekend walk for us with the pooch. There are lots of streets that meet up with the path, allowing you to leave when you have to. It's not overly crowded... I commented to my other half that it would be perfect to teach a young child how to ride a bike. I've only been here during the day, so I can't say how safe it is at night, or if there is adequate lighting. I have seen bike cops on it before. The path takes you along the GO line, past your mundane urban graffiti mixed in with murals such as Osler Fish Market's colourful depiction of the sea and a fisherman. I hope they get to extending it soon. Quick entrance to the Bloor Go platform is a bonus if the TTC ever goes on strike again for me.
