rev:text	Coming from Pittsburgh, we didn't think we would get good Italian food in Arizona. Va Bene proved us wrong. Not only was the food excellent, the service was even better! We were a little nervous when they put us in a back room by ourselves with our 3 children (very good kids but under 10), but it was actually ideal... we had the room to ourselves. They took their time on serving and the food was authentic. The gnocchi was a little overcooked but the manager (can't remember his name) and server, Sergio, made it right. They were both great (as were the bus boys) and made our experience at this restaurant perfect. Veal Parm (not on the menu) and Veal Marsala was delicious, as were the sides. If you're looking for great, authentic Italian food in the Phoenix area, this is definitely your place... for kids and adults alike! Highly recommend by a 100% Italian!
