| - Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I cannot stress this enough. They employ the shadiest sales tactics known to man; on par of what you'd expect from a fly-by-night car dealership. On their OWN website, towbindodge.net, had a vehicle listed (Stock# R24950) for $31,652. I test drove it, liked it and decided to talk numbers... then here's the bait and switch. The price the sleazy internet manager, JT, brought over was suddenly, $53,800.00. The vehicle suddenly had $22k+ worth of upgrades not listed on the website, nor mentioned anywhere on the sticker of the vehicle.
I thought they were joking at first, but nope, they were dead serious. I wasted over 3 hours at that dealership, most of it waiting, because JT decided he wasn't going to sell me a basic truck for $50k+ and decided I wasn't worth his time. It wasn't until I asked my salesman to get a desk manager and his response was even more astonishing. He flat out said, I don't have to list those upgrades on the website nor update the price since they were dealer installed.
Imagine going to Denny's for an advertised $5.99 Grand Slam meal, enjoying it, then receiving a check for $500, only because the cook was a wanna-be Gordon Ramsay.
If you want to avoid surprises like that, avoid this dealership. Towbin Dodge has ruined the car buying experienced, tarnished the Dodge name, all with its potential illegal selling practices. I will never buy a Dodge and have already been spreading the word about this dealership and their practices.
