  • These guys did me a solid! I rolled in on the shuttle (stood, no seats available) after a flight which included the world's worst behaved preschooler - yet, the same little stain who threw the biggest fit I've ever witnessed at the STL airport. I digress... They gentleman at the counter was in a good mood. I was in a bad mood. He decided to change that for me and figured out how to upgrade me without violating my corporate travel policy. Yay! I got out to the garage and a very cheerful young lady looked at my contract and then told me that I could choose from a Toyota whatever, a Nissian whatever or a Chrysler 300. I've driven both of the whatevers plenty of times so I told her I would take a Chrysler as I have never driven one of those. She went to find one for me. A few minutes later and she was back with some bad news...they were out of Chrysler 300s. Her: How long are you keeping the car? Me: Just a few days. Her: Would consider an idea I have? Me: Sure. The other idea turned out to be a BMW 328i. That sounded far better than a Toyota or Nissan! I most definitely won the rental car lottery on this trip!
