| - Not being too wildly crazy about children screaming and running around me, I've got to say my experience at Playdium was not too bad. The games were alright, and all seemed to be running fine when I was there. Recent changes to their system includes no longer using tickets to redeem prizes. Rather, you accumulate points on the cash card (which can be checked using the Cineplex app). You can still convert saved up tickets to points, but as a forewarning, they're counting them by hand.
For March Break, they had a $31 deal for 220 credits, where each game can range from 2-10 credits I think. A bit expensive still in my opinion, but whatever, I come here like once every 3 years. As always, the staff weren't too pleasant to be around, most of them are following scripts. and just do what they need to do. "Welcome to Playdium, the ultimate place to play yay..." so don't expect them to be overly excited to help. Overall, an ok place to go if you're into arcade games, but keep in mind it won't be too easy on the wallet.
