What kind of restaurant refuses to cater to vegetarians or people who can not eat bacon?
I ordered a salad that did not say on the menu description that it was apparently sauteed in bacon fat and topped with bacon. I was quite disappointed and ended up switching salads with my friend who ordered the kale salad.
From the beginning I was unimpressed. The tables were extremely close together and hard to get up and go to the restroom (due to the narrow walkway and narrow space between tables), the starter was a complementary cold cream corn soup in a shot glass.. i think its self explainatory as to why it was unimpressive, the scallops we ordered was a total of two scallops (one whole and one cut in half to look like 3) which I would have preferred to be cooked a bit more to be a bit carmelized on the bottom.
Also, There is a photographer that comes around and asks to take a picture and will later tell you they can add it to your bill for 20 something dollars.. It would be nice but the photo we received was blurry. Being yelpers, we don't complain we just write about it later.. haha.
However, The dessert made my experience so much better. I ordered the banana tower with white chocolate and it was exquisite.
Overall, the food isn't anything to write home about, the view isn't as great as I thought it would be, its not great for the claustrophobic, but you must try the dessert.
