| - Just got done flying with AA and their regional company, American Eagle, for the 4th of July and it was some of the best damn service I have ever received. On the way up to Omaha, provided it was a turbulent flight due to Mother Nature being pissed off, the pilots still managed to make it as smooth a lake on a windless day AND get us there 20 minutes early. Oh, not to mention we didn't have to wait at any gates since it was late. If we have to, it's not their damn fault, there's procedures in place.
As for the flight back, decided to treat myself with First Class and that is the shiz. Yes, I did exactly what Andy Dwyer wanted to do on his bucket list and it felt great. The jack and cokes were lit, the food was bomb, the seats were hella comfy, and again service was on point.
We arrived 40 minutes early, but had to sit on the tarmac for 20 due to being that early. I can't complain, all service was top notch. Best of all, the crew kept us informed of the delays and when we should be arriving at the gate so we could enjoy the blistering sun of AZ.
