| - My cat would give this place 1 star because he did not enjoy having a thermometer up his butt and getting a shot. But I have other criteria to rely on, and this is definitely a 5 star vet!
1) The staff is so friendly. I've been to other vets where you feel like the staff could care less about you or your pet, and that is not the case here. On my first visit, they even gave my cat a goody bag with toys and treats.
2) I always feel like my cat gets a thorough exam, and I never feel like the doctor is rushing to get to the next patient.
3) Making an appointment has always been easy. When my cat was up throwing up all night, I was able to get an appointment first thing in the morning with no hassle.
4) Although some people have complained that they feel the vet tries to sell them on extras, I have never felt this is the case. For example, today when I took my cat for his annual exam, the vet listed 3 vaccines I could consider, noting that she really would only recommend 1 since he is an indoor cat. Even after that recommendation, she said it was completely up to me. On other visits, I've asked to have an estimate for recommended services first, and I've never felt pressured to spend more than I could afford.
If you are looking for a vet in the central Phoenix area, look no further!
