  • I am in LOVE with this place for putting such a unique twist on breakfast and brunch! Grilled cheese on texas toast?! Where do you see that?! Almost nowhere! We were staying near the strip, so going to Downtown Las Vegas was a nice change from the hustle and bustle. We got seated right away during peak breakfast time on a Wednesday morning. The menu was very organized into different sections, with a few options in each section. I have a belief that the smaller the menu, the better the food (usually) because they know what works and what doesn't, and there's less of a chance for you to order something that's just "okay". Anyway! I ordered the tofu scramble that came with chive potatoes, with a side of vegetable chili. My friends ordered the grilled cheese that came with tomato soup, and some egg dish (I forgot the name!). My tofu scramble was very different from all the other tofu scrambles I've had in my time being vegan. I usually have it in little pieces so that it looks like..scrambled egg. Mine was in cubes. Very oily cubes. I wasn't a huge fan of the oil but the tofu wasn't too bad. The potatoes were very good. My chili was flavorful but too salty. I accidentally had some tomato soup that had cheese in it (we had no idea), but that was one of the better tomato soups I've ever had. The grilled cheese was huge. For light eaters, I think that could've satisfied two people. The housemade chips were delicious as well (I think they had cheese in it, too?!). The egg dish was given a thumbs up from my friend. All the servers are very efficient at what they do, but do not sacrifice customer service while doing so. Many other places should take pointers from here. Overall, our meal was enjoyed and we left with our stomachs full and hearts happy! Come stop by if you're in Vegas to eat something a little different!
