  • Our home warranty company contracted with Everything Plumbing. The hot water heater on our rental property had gone out. In addition to the service fee they wanted an additional $189 to replumb for the new "short" hot water heater. When asked if my husband could do that part of the work they stated the only other option would be to have the Home Warranty company cash us out. Upon further research the short or lower hot water heaters are cheaper than the tall ones that fit the existing plumbing. When my husband questioned their decision they could not come up with a clear answer. Obviously trying to make money for unnecessary work. Stay-away, find someone legit. It was obvious they were trying to take advantage of a woman who doesn't know much about plumbing.
