I wanted to try this place because I have been getting dipping powder for about 6 months but I hated my salon because they were super grumpy and always insulting my taste, telling me my natural nails were too long and that the shape I wanted "wasn't the style" .. I never put up a fight because I'm not one of those customers (aren't those cheap, high maintenance ladies so embarrassing! They're so mean!) I kept going because it was across the street from my house at dt Summerlin. I stopped by Lacquer Me Up after an oil change today at 4 without an appointment when I knew they were closing at 6. They were packed so I intended to make a future appt. but Debbie said they could fit me in at 5 so I came back. When I did, she remembered my name, acknowledged me and actually said "Courtney I see that you're here!" -it was really that packed. She did my nails herself because she knew it was my first time there and she wanted to give me the best service. She told me she's been doing dipping powder for 8 years (I thought I was like on the ground floor), and her experience showed. My nails are cuuuute, the shape I like, and better than that - all of the technicians were being funny and nice and productive and getting along and working together, Debbie was managing her ass off.. it was a great atmosphere and proves why they have so many happy clients they can efficiently attend to.
