| - IF YOU LIKE BEING TOLD THAT YOU HAVE CANCER WHEN YOU DON'T, BY ILL INFORMED RECEPTIONISTS.. READ FURTHER. This was my first and last visit with Dr. Lopez. During my visit he ask where I had my mammogram done so he could request a copy for my records. The office called me to say Dr. Lopez wants me to have another screening done. I told them that with my deductible, I couldn't afford to. They called again, and the receptionist tells me, "they need the screening done, for the cancer", I read to her the letter I received from the radiologist saying I had a higher risk of developing cancer, not that I had it. I told my son when he woke up and he had me call the office back to speak to the doctor directly, because he thought it was odd they would even say that over the phone. The receptionist told me that Dr. Lopez does not talk to patients over the phone and I need to make an appointment. When I told her why I wanted to speak with him, she tried to correct her error by saying "I said you COULD have cancer". A few days before the appointment I received the reminder call, where they tell me I will be paying 95 dollars. I told them that would not happen, I needed to speak with the doctor about the inappropriate manner... FALSE information was given over the phone. Today the day of the appointment, the receptionist called to tell me, the appointment would still cost 95 dollars, and the doctor told her to tell me "I could have cancer"
