rev:text	A $43 oil change cost me $300 in subsequent repairs due to incompetence/negligence. $343 is the most expensive oil change I've ever had, and the company refuses to rectify it, despite proof. DO NOT GO IN TO THIS JIFFY LUBE LOCATION. I went in to this Jiffy Lube location for a simple oil change. I've had my last two oil changes through Jiffy Lubes at other locations and had not encountered a problem. This time, the service consultant told me that I was low on transmission fluid, that they did not have any, and recommended that I pick some up in the near future. I left their location, and directly after pulling out of the parking lot my car began having problems. I made it down the road, with the car jumping whenever I hit the gas, and then my car died. Following, I had to have it towed to the dealership. The dealership informed me that "appears trans was drained and never refilled, also trans filter appeared to have been taken off because of the teeth marks from a filter wrench that were on the filter". This service cost me $300. My husband, who has worked in the auto industry for 25 years spoke with the manager at this Jiffy Lube location and was told that it would need to be addressed at the corporate level. A person from the corporate office called him and instead of rectifying the issue, told him that there was no way he could prove it. What should have been a $43 dollar oil change has now cost us $343 dollars due to incompetence; and to add insult to injury this company is refusing to rectify their mistake.
