| - We have purchased 4 rings from D&R in less than a year, all in regards to our upcoming wedding. I love this place so much, I specifically joined yelp to spread the word about these guys.
D&R is incredible. You won't find a better deal, feel more comfortable, or get anyone else more accommodating than these guys. I worked exclusively with Dave throughout the entire process. I wanted an extremely specific engagement ring made! Dave was extremely patient with me, and stayed with me long past my appointment time (past business hours) to get the perfect ring made. Mind you, they did not make a big profit on this ring either. I already had a family heirloom ring, with the same metal, and a nice diamond. Dave really bent over backwards to make sure they made what I wanted. He laid out all the various options for me, the specific costs, what their profit margin was going to be, and he even helped me get the diamond mapped and certified for insurance purposes. The process was fast and efficient and I always felt comfortable because Dave was very up front about everything.
We felt so comfortable that we came back for our actual wedding bands soon after! I am a pain in the neck, and was EXTREMELY specific about my wedding band. I wanted a specific color, heft, and quality metal, and there was an extremely specific inscription that I wanted on my band. I was uptight on the inscription to the point that I hand drew the width depth and length of this inscription for Dave. He laid my fears to rest, told me he partnered with the best inscriber in town, and when I got the band back, let me tell you, it absolutely blew me away. We aren't married yet and I show the damn thing to everyone any time people come over because it's freakin awesome!
My fiance had 2 bands made, an anniversary band, and her wedding band, both identical. We used additional leftover metal from my old ring, and Dave actually talked us out of getting thicker bands for her and to getting thinner bands for her because he felt the rings were going to look better, and boy was he right! These guys are so honest, they lost money by using my metal and by having a thinner band because they want what is truly right for you.
They also have some really incredible software that will show you specifically what your ring will look like before you get it so that you can feel totally comfortable.
We love this place so much that my future father in law had his ring fixed here as well.
Use these guys! They do incredible work and are 100% honest! They will bend over backwards to ensure that you get the right ring for yourself. We couldn't be happier and are really excited to wear our rings! Oh and every time we go to Downtown Summerlin we stop in and Dave puts our rings into their shiner device while we walk around the mall!
