| - If it was possible to give this place more than 5 stars, I totally would. I absolutely love the beer and the staff/brewtenders. This is the kind of place that makes me love stepping out of my beer comfort zone to try a style I wouldn't normally try. I get excited every time they have a new release. Also, this place has events several days a wek, a lot of board games/card games, and even a TV and couch to play some old school video games. They have a lot of interesting, non-traditional offerings. While some of them are not my favorites, I have yet to find a beer I won't drink.
I'm not an IPA person and I don't care for a lot of hoppy beers. Many of the beers here are non-traditional and super tasty. They do have their Seeker, which is a hazy IPA. It's not overly hoppy and is very drinkable. Hunter is another IPA option, which is fairly hop-forward but finishes nicely. If a sour beer is your thing, their Dry Dock is pretty great. It's like drinking a pinot grigio and is more tart than overly sour. What's the Craic is probably one of my favorite beers and is a fabulous version of an Irish red ale. As for non-traditional, they had a Chai Masala beer for a while which totally knocked my socks off. They currently have the Thai Breaker (a witbier with lemongrass and other thai herbs) and their G&T (very similar flavor to a gin and tonic) on tap and both are excellent. They make small batches of beer and rotate them, so I can frequently go there and try new things. Unfortunately, that also means that some of the great beers I've mentioned are not always available.
Everyone who works here has always been so nice and I've been fortunate to have good service every time. The inside is a little small, with just a few tables and a seating area with the TV and video games. They have a terrific selection of board/card games to play, such as Settlers of Catan, Exploding Kittens, and multiple versions of Flux. They recently added some outdoor seating as well. They also have trivia night, music bingo, and other events going on several days a week. It's located a little bit back from the road, but you can follow the sign to get there.
I can't say enough great things about this place and their beer. If you haven't been here before or haven't been since they first opened, I highly recommend checking this place out.
