While the views of Bar 32 are second to none, the drinks are another story. Objectively, the mood of the bar is along the lines of contemporary and opulent, but they have to decided to contrast the ambiance with what some less upscale bars would consider well liquor -- Smirnoff's vodka, Tanqueray gin, etc. The cocktail options leave much to be desired. I hope that as the bar gains more footing (and more Yelp reviews), they will debut more intentionally crafted drinks using nuanced ingredients such as house made shrubs, a greater selection of bitters, and a diverse set of liquors beyond your typical bases.
I did notice that the bartenders would chill glassware with liquid nitrogen before fill them with drinks. This technique is an interesting detail and gives me hope for changes at this bar. Until then, I have no plans to return in the near future.
