| - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!
We rented a water slide, tables, and chairs from this ridiculous excuse for a company.
When we rented from them, we were under the impression that they were professional. They came and set up the slide with no problem. Before leaving we were given the option to either have the slide picked up later that evening, or have the slide picked up the next morning. It seemed much more convenient to have everything picked up in the morning. The driver said that they would be at the house at 6:30-7:00 AM to pick up the slide.
Fast forward to the next morning...
We arrive back at my in-law's house to be avail to have the gate unlocked and ready to help where we can with carrying tables and chairs at 6:00 AM.
I call multiple times to see where the driver is at 7:00AM. There is no answer. I leave a voicemail, and finally get someone to call me back at 7:54. I am told that they are on the other side of town and wouldn't be at the house until much later. I mentioned that we have church at 9, and that nobody would be home, I was told just to leave the gate unlocked. I told the driver that I did not feel comfortable leaving the gate unlocked with nobody at the house because it is not my house and that the owners had already left for the morning. As if this wasn't enough, I was told that it was MY fault because I didn't tell him that we had church at 9. When I tried to tell him that it was HIM that told me they would be here at 6:30, he interrupted me time after time after time. I could not get any words out. I wanted him to understand that as a company, he set the expectation that they would be here between 6:30 to 7:00. I am not unreasonable. If only he would have called and said ,"something came up, we can't be there by 6:30, we will be there at so and so time." That way I could make arrangements to make sure someone is at the house. Again, when I tried to explain this, I was constantly interrupted. I asked if I could finish a sentence in the conversation, he angrily refused and hung up.
It was at this point that my fiancé called someone else at C&J to explain the awful experience we were having.
After this conversation the driver called me back, but again would not let me speak. He said that another driver would be at the house by 8:30. I tried to speak with him calmly, but he was not having it, and would not let me speak. He told me that I just didn't understand business.
A simple call could have helped this situation greatly. But that was too much to ask.
I do not appreciate how we were treated. We signed your contract. We paid you. Our end of the contract was upheld. Is it too much to ask that you provide standard customer service in return?
We rent slides or bounce houses every year for our children's parties. And not just me, but so does everyone in our family. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know to avoid doing business with this company. Unless you want to be treated as poorly as we were.
I have definitely learned my lesson, and my money will be spent with a company that deserves it from now on.
I urge anyone who is looking for a slide, bounce house, etc to do the same.
