Great food here, as well as a great selection on drafts and bottles and any liquors really. It seems that they specialize in whiskey and bourbon but there were several tequilas and vodkas to choose from as well. I ordered the induction salad which came with watermelon. I'm not that fond of fruit in my salad but this was actually refreshing. A large bed of arugula with a light balsamic dressing and pickled onions. YUM! Those onions were fantastic!!
The hubby ordered the pot roast which I hear is very popular and now I know why. The meat is cooked to be very tender and it just pulls apart when you dig in. The gravy was creamy and completed the mashed potatoes very well. On top of all the deliciousness they added onion straws which made the whole dish that much better. The portion was a very nice size enough for two to split if your not starving.
The only bad thing was that the service was super slow! We sat at the bar and our original bartender only came over to use twice. Once to ask what we wanted to drink and then once to ask us how are food was. It was the guy with the curly mustache. I had to flag down another bartender just so we could order our food. He spent all his time at the opposite end of the bar and never even turned his head to see if we needed help. The fact that there were 3 bartenders and I had to flag someone down to help us order is unacceptable!!
Get your service skills together!!
