| - I worked at CPK in 1987. I'm a fan and very familiar with their menu.
Calling this place and getting the take out girl on the phone was enough to break glass, the girl's whiny fake voice is unbearable.
I ordered a salad SPECIFICALLY to include bread, and as per expected with this world of 0.0 attention span of those under 25, there was no bread.
When I inform her that I asked for bread, she has no reaction at all, and when I say the word "that I specifically" asked, she is taken back because she now knows that I know it was her who took my order and it was she who screwed up and tried to lie about it.
These people need to be trained that a customer has an "experience" when they come to your business. That experience begins finding parking, who greets them at the door, etc, etc.
How likely am I to order take out again, knowing that the person who answers the phone doesn't pay attention, and doesn't care that she doesn't.
It wasn't that it happened, it's that she didn't care that she screwed up.
It was her attitude, and her mouth, and her body language.
