  • This Renaissance hotel is really quite nice. It's in a good location in downtown Cleveland. The parking rate is OK ($23 a day for self-parking, $28 for valet). The interior of the hotel is pretty fancy-- it's almost on par with the Ritz Carlton across the street. The room I had was very clean and the beds were super comfortable!! I'm glad I was in a room with two queen beds. One of the beds had a few long black hairs on the bedsheets, so I slept on the clean bed. The only problem with the hotel rooms here are the thin walls and the space underneath the hotel room door. The door isn't flush with the floor, so light from the hallway comes in. You can hear people walking around outside. Because of the thin walls, I could hear a lot of stuff. On Fri night, I had just gotten into bed and had the light off for about 5 minutes when I heard the people next door getting it on. And I heard everything-- their entire conversation, all of the noises they were making (both verbal and physical). It was so loud that I thought it was coming from my room! So if you are a voyeur (in the audible sense), you might want to stay here.
