  • I'd like to commend Desert Storage, for their generous support of our non profit organization, Drive By Blessings. We receive donations of furniture, household items, food and cleaning supplies, and give them to our Veterans who had once been homeless, and with those donations and our organizations' support, we are able to give them the fresh start and welcome home they truly deserve. We had been storing all our donations in volunteers garages - the heat exposure has caused us all a lot of stress, as it's become increasingly difficult to work, store and protect our things in these extreme temperatures! As we are a new organization, with few resources, we needed a storage company to take interest in the important work we do and give us a break until we could raise more money. Desert Storage not only stepped up to become the company that gave us a break - they gave us a huge gift, by donating one of their units, free of charge for 6 months! I visited this location today, and I am beyond amazed with their facilities - very clean, very secure, very friendly atmosphere...not to mention...air conditioned ! Drive By Blessings has fully furnished apartments for 17 Veterans since January 31st - our goal is to eventually become a furniture resource center for ALL Veterans in need in the Phoenix Valley. Wonderful companies and incredible people like Scott Brawn with Desert Storage, are contributing to our mission, helping us to grow closer to reaching our goals.
