rev:text	SPA SUITE- 3.75 stars The spa suite in NYNY was very nice. We went for my husband's birthday. When I first walked into the room there was a smell like cigarettes, but it might just be the hotel smell. After a while I got used to it and didn't notice it for the rest of the 3 night stay. The room was clean and we had a great view on the 23rd floor. The room service was great. The food was good, not too bad on price, and it was delivered within 20 minutes. THE SPA-the spa is the reason we went. It was in the room so you could still watch the TV from it. Very relaxing. The only thing is that after the first night we used it my husband and I got red bumps on our stomach and arms. They looked like bug bites! I goggled it and we came to the conclusion that it was a bacteria in the spa (this is OUR conclusion). We think it was the spa because when we got in we didn't have red bumps and when we got out we took a shower, dried off and that's when we noticed the bites/bumps. I called the manager the next morning to inform her and to ask if we could have chlorine wipes to clean the spa. She was very nice but said they didn't have any. She said she would notify the room cleaning manager. I was ready to just leave at that point but my husband said we could get rubbing alcohol at the CVS near the hotel and rinse the spa before using it again. That worked! No new bites/bumps after that. We poured rubbing alcohol and a little tea tree oil in the spa before each time we used it. After that we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay there. Would we stay again? Yes, I would just pack rubbing alcohol and tea tree oil so we could apply it to the spa before we used it.
