  • I've been to Dr Cook at Horizon Eye Specialists three times in the past five months and I couldn't be more pleased. I've had the most thorough vision analysis of my entire life, having worn glasses for almost 60 years, since 4th grade. Dr Cook is great, very warm and friendly. I never feel rushed or marginalized and all questions are answered without condescension or patronization. All staff members are the same way. No one has tried to "upsell" me. I have cataracts developing but was not at all pressured. Dr Cook says not yet, we'll just keep an eye on them. Same with my drooping eyelids. Not time to do anything about them. I haven't seen the other doctors but I feel that, based on the atmosphere and staff members I've met, that they are also excellent. There is a real culture of patient care that has become the exception in American medicine. I highly recommend Horizon in Scottsdale.
