  • Furniture Bank is a worthy cause - picking up gently used furniture, for a fee, and gifting it to those in need. A tax receipt is then issued. My experience was odd. I received conflicting fees from two reps - Stephen and Dawn. When I asked about the discrepancy. Rather than note that I could get different amounts depending on the rep I was told I had added items with Dawn - this was not the case. The "fee" to pick-up a few items (bed set, sofa, odd tables) was $340. I like what Furniture Bank is doing but not how.
