Overall, it's a decent hotel for the price. The rooms are called suites and are decent in size but the quality of the suites are average. Let's just say a suite at the Hardrock has the wow factor where these suites dont have that feeling. They are nice because they have two beds and a couch.
The carnival buffet is nice for a variety of foods while the seafood buffet is awesome. The other restaurants are pretty good although I find this hotel lacks nice late night eateries.
The hotel is a tad dated and is off the strip. So I guess it could be a plus or minus. The hotel does offer a shuttle to Harrahs which is on the strip though.
Like most hotels they have self parking and valet parking.
The Rio does seem to be one of the cheaper hotels in the Caesars chains.
