Very disappointing. After reading all about this place and its noteworthy chef, I was excited to try it tonight. I thought the spaghetti squash would be interesting to try, something out of the ordinary. I explained to the hostess/waitress I was a pescatarian and asked what she'd recommend as far as fish or vegetarian. Without hesitating, she excitedly said the fish tacos. Went with her recommendation and they were just a little better than terrible. The fish pieces were much more breading than fish, grease oozed out during each bite, the spice was non-existent, and the semi-warm corn tortillas looked and tasted like they came out of a 99c store package. The only thing that saved these meal were the decent pico de gallo and red chile aioli layered on top. The presentation was pleasant as well. I also liked the cilantro-lime dressing on the small (and kind of expensive) side salad. All told, I probably should have tried Planet Sub next door.
