  • Love this place! What a lovely discovery at the beginning of our 6 week stay in Phoenix. I'm fussy when it comes to Mexican food, having lived in El Paso. This is not Cal Mex, Tex Mex or New Mex, but the real deal. Great chips and salsa, and the dishes my wife and I got - fish tacos and seven seas soup, were both excellent. And enough food that I'll have lunch tomorrow from the leftovers. To cap it off, the service was loving and warm. Turns out, it empties out after about 7pm, so those wanting faster service should show up when most people leave. FYI: There were only 3 other tables occupied when we were there. Everyone else was Mexican. A good sign, right? Great place!
