  • I want to say that Green Grotto has gone down hill over the past years. It started off as a unique BBT place with quality drinks and service. Not to mention that they offer free popcorn. Unfortunately the service is getting sloppy and the drinks are no longer competitive in the GTA market. For me, Green Grotto is not an option after today's visit. All is well during the ordering process but after 40-45 minutes we still did not see our drinks. When 2 of my friends got their drinks I asked if mine was coming soon. Waitress didn't even hesitate and stated yes, on its way. Fast forward a few more minutes and she came back asking what I ordered. I was furious. She had not written down my order and basically "lied" earlier saying my drink was coming. I asked if our group could get a discount or something since my friends were 2/3 done their meals and I have yet drank anything. She told me Green Grotto doesn't offer discounts when they make a mistake. Ok whatever. The later gave us another waitress and everything was fine. It's too bad that my most recent experience turned out this way. The highway 7 location has always been good to me, so maybe I could give that one a try (maybe).
