  • EDIT: I have to drop this to 3 stars. A restaurant just has to be consistent and CFT is anything but that. I went today and my food was just so-so (everything we ordered) and it's not the first time. This place is awesome. A lot of creative choices other than just fish tacos too - my favorite being the Carne Asada tacos. The price's are reasonable and the atmosphere is pretty chill and down to earth - but nothing special. I don't think it matters - if you're like me you come here for the food and to have a few brews while hanging out in the NODA area. So what's holding me back from giving 5 stars? I'm not factoring in atmosphere, meal presentation, etc because this isn't that kind of place. And the price's reflect that. So purely based on food - the sides are very average. The chips and salsa are OK (although complimentary as in most mex-american joints). And while the main entrees are definetely tasty, they're not "out of this world" good. Still, I'm always up for some Cabo Fish Taco and they get a solid 4 stars.
