| - Looks can be deceiving! From the outside it's believable this place is amazing. Once you get inside it is a different story. The staff on the grounds has been nothing but nice. However, when something goes wrong they kind of play dumb and like to say "oh that's normal". The tiles on our apt are cracked and the grout was coming out. When we asked for some loose tiles to be fixed they came in and did it. Great! However 1 week later the grout cracked and started chipping and coming out. When we asked for it to be fixed it took them 2 WEEKS to come out. And they said, "oh that's normal". And when they fixed it, they used CAULKING FOR A SHOWER to seal the grout. I wish I could add pictures.
Then the shower pan was rusted and cracked and coming apart from the "tile". I used the word tile loosely because we all know it's a rebath. Their response, "oh thats normal". Their idea of fixing it was by slapping some mystery goop all over. Literally, all over. On the "tile", the shower floor and it looked like they gave a 4 year old finger paint and asked them to have at it. 3 weeks later and the mystery goop is still wet and not set. I have no words. Also took over 2 weeks to fix.
The Gate that makes this place "gated" was open for over 2 months. It was broken and apparently they used the pony express to get a new one here from Mars. Once it was "working" they sent an email with the new code. An email. Not everyone is a millennial on the phone 24/7. So the day it was fixed I apparently didn't check my email fast enough, because you know own, I have a job and was stuck outside until my husband came and let me in. Oh, did I mention you only get 1 key fob per apartment to get in the gate then it's $75 for any extra you want. FEES! Not to mention the pedestrian gate doesn't close and it always open. Please, come in, one and all.
Also the pool has been "accidentally" locked on more than 1 occasion, including a major pool holiday I like to call 4th of July where we couldn't get in. And it's especially pleasant when the water fall and fountain break at 3 am and make a high pitched squeal. This happens at least 2 nights a month.
This place is managed by MAA. I have been trying to reach corporate for about a month on these issues with no response. It's awful and we have 8 months left in our lease. God help us.
DON'T MOVE HERE!!! unless you like Vegas style pool parties, no parking spots, terrible maintenence and basically living in a run down over priced shit hole.
