  • Fairmont bagel store was recommended to us before we arrived in Montreal from three unrelated parties! No doubt, we had to check it out. Line up was brisk, and the service was extremely efficient. I was expecting a tougher classic bagel, but was pleasantly surprised by how chewy and "doughy" it was. We tried the classic sesame (heads up: there is HEAPS of sesame) on its own. It was absolutely delightful! I inhaled it in seconds and wished I got two instead!
