  • We have visited Lake Las Vegas numerous times to attend weekend concerts and when the casino was opened, but it has been a few years. On our most recent trip we took a drive out there and saw lots of construction and noted that at least of one of the golf courses seemed to have reopened. MonteLago Village itself seemed to be like a ghost town on this Tuesday with the exception of a little activity near the water. As we walked around the beautiful village, I noted that one store after another was now empty with "available" signs posted. It seems the only "going" businesses involve either eating/drinking or water sports.
